Charity League, Inc. Charlotte (CLC) allows members and non-members to support the mission and operational needs of CLC throughout the year. The Annual Fund plays a critical role in CLC’s ability to sustain and advance our mission as a 100% volunteer women’s organization committed to enhancing the lives of Charlotte-area children by promoting academic achievement, prosocial behavior, and self-worth through volunteerism.

CLC's Annual Fund:

Creates new, and maintains existing CLC “Hubs” in Title 1 Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools that provide free essential items such as: new clothes/uniforms, coats, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, hygiene items, teacher supplies, and literacy enrichment through funded author visits, book fair support, classroom libraries, and teacher appreciation and support.
Helps CLC recruit and retain members
Provides training opportunities to new members and leaders
Defrays operational costs
